History

Estampaciones Modernas S.L. was founded in the year 1945, and for a long period the core for transformer was its main product. From the year 1985, our development to new markets started thanks to the globalisation of products in international enterprises, and the desire of the same to externalise processes linked to our. In this way, an evolution of our personnel, technology and production means was initiated; as a result, lamination and die-cut of low-carbon steel with magnetic attributes is nowadays our main activity. As the most important milestones, we can highlight:

• 1989 Entry into the car industry sector
• 1994 Robert Bosch Award for “quality and competitiveness” as best supplier.
• 1997 Implementation of the first line of alternator.
• 1999 Development of the plan for Quality guarantee according to the ISO 9002 and QS 9000 norms.
• 1999 Commercial opening aiming at the penetration of markets in the rest of Europe, mainly France and Germany
• 1999 Development of a line of automation for the manufacture of the “barreta motor”.
• 2000 Development of the aluminium injection line for rotors.
• 2000 Obtaining the ISO 9002 and QS 9000 certifications
• 2000 Extensive manufacture with automatic stapling systems and matrices.
• 2001 Consolidation of the Injection Section with the acquisition and implementation of a new injector of 420 Tm.
• 2001 Manufacture of the EGR collector for HDI motors. Use of matrices and special control systems for the cutting of abrasive stainless steel with high thickness.
• 2002 Inclusion of Estampaciones Modernas, at European level, into the group of suppliers of motors for the Bosch group. Only 10 European companies enjoy this cataloguing.
